    WW-BT-VC install

Got my blue tooth controller yesterday and could not stand it! I went to my boat storage today on my lunch break and did the install. It was super easy and I think I turned out pretty clean. Took about 20 min

What exactly is the conversion? I do love Bluetooth but don't want to get another head unit right now.

If your head-unit has an AUX input, you're all set. The WS-BTVC is a universal blue tooth receiver, so it works with any source unit with an AUX input.

We took the boat out today and gave the BT controller it's first run. it works amazing IMO this was a must have for our boating. my wife likes the DJ the boat music and it was such a hassle having a 12 foot aux cable strung all over the boat. It has about a 50 foot range with my phone which is in a life proof case might could get more distance out of it if you didn't have a case on it. I also sat my phone on the swim platform just to see if it would continue to play with the phone under water. The water intterupted the signal <--- o well I still think it is a pretty cool unit.

Hmmm I'll def have to check if there is an extra. It's the stock head unit/stereo setup except for the sub I'm going to add. My last Tige had an extra set BUT it did not have tower speakers.

I must say, I love BT so I hope it does!

Is the little blue light on the dash just an indicator light so you know it's connected?

What is the sound quality using the bluetooth? I have satelite radio in my truck, and it is a clear stepdown from my Ipod. I think that satelite radio is 96kps, IIUC. Most of the songs on my Ipod are 128 or 160.

Is there a way to do both BT or IPod depending on which source you want to use?
              Be excellent to one another.

                Tall

The WS BT uses an AUX input. So if your iPod it connected to USB or iPod specific port you just change the mode on the head unit.

Awesome my wife also likes to DJ, sounds like a must have. I have tried other bt but nothing would work at the back of the boat. Looking forward to getting one.

Does this thing completely replace the AUX input, rendering the physical audio jack dead/useless?

Also, does it cause your phone's BT to disconnect every time ignition is turned off? I can see that being a bigger hassle than just using a wire

                      Dave

It can we Y'b in with an existing AUX in to head unit or connect to the AUX of an EQ.

It will not power off unless its wired to the switched ignition.
