    Z3 pricing on new 2013

I'm on the hunt for a Z3 and just recently moved away from any dealership.

I found a dealer asking 83k for a loaded 2013 Z3. The only things it didn't have were tower speakers and the clamping board racks.

I just attended a boat show that had a similarly loaded 2014 Z3 (409 engine, bungees, 2 tower speakers) for 83k.

My thought is that the 13 Z3 should be at least 5-7k cheaper, is that unrealistic?

    Thanks!

Not sure where you are from. Below are a couple of links for you. The first is the Pro-Owned section at the Tige dealer near Minneapolis, MN that we (and several other from MN) have purchased our boat from. Paul (Owner), Brandon (Sales) and Lance (Service) have all been great to work with. I don't know off hand if they have any 2013 carry over as their sales increased in numbers greatly from 2012-2013 but it may be worth giving them a look/call.

Next is a link to clearance inventory of what was out other Tige dealer. They no longer are a Tige dealer, so you would want to check with the factory to see if the warranty would still be the same and if warranty service would simply be handled through a dealer near you. They are a Centurion dealer and had been alongside Tige. I don't know why they parted ways. I am guessing part of it may have been the area just didn't have enough business in towboats to support 2 lines at one dealer. They have a couple deals on 2013 Z3s. One if heavily customized and was their feature at the 2013 boat shows.

I really say high or low cause you never know what dealers can actually do. All I can say is that I bought our 2014 z3 loaded up for not much higher than $83k. I have the 345 hp engine in it.

Its high for sure. I know where there are 2 used, loaded, low hour(under 50) 2013 Z-3s for $69,999.

#1 rule of buying a hold over is don't pay much more than used value. Because as soon as you drive it off the lot it's not a new 2013 anymore, its a year old used boat. So with that in mind that boat is 10-13K overpriced!!

I also know of a dealer with a couple that are around the 80hr mark or less fully loaded and priced 69-72k. I have noticed that they did just raise the price on them the other day as I'm sure the warm weather is allowing the price hike. With the 2014 models out one should expect to get a better deal on a carryover 2013 model or definitely better price on a used 2013. Shop around for sure, you might have to drive further but to save 10k i'd drive across the US!!

Just because I am curious what do you guys classify as a "loaded boat"? every option or? motor up, tower speakers, pro ballast, custom trailer?

                  The 409 engine, pro ballast.

Is what I would consider loaded.

What area are you located? That would help determine pricing as each area is different and it would also help find you a boat.

I was thinking that the black and yellow Z3 in Denver is a pretty decent deal. It was on a thread here a few weeks ago. It is used, but I agree that the price is too high from what you are describing, but I have been accused of devaluing multiple people's boats in the past.
                        Be excellent to one another.

I may sell mine if your into black! It's loaded with everything except the 409, heater and shower. Every thing else is upgraded pro ballast, captains chair, steering wheel, tinted windows, tower of power, trailer ect.. Sorry I don't have a price out together yet. 2013 z3 90-92 hrs. It's still in storage. You may not like black.

                            Dandy,

Thanks for the shout out. Much appreciated. Both boats are loaded with features and priced to sell. All Tige boats are ordered with basic ballast and we customize for your specific needs. We can do a 3700 lb. set up for about $1200. If you want the bigger system with enzo sacs i think it's another $500. (I'm at home I don't have pricing in front of me sorry) We pay the first $1000 in shipping to boot.

Prices have dropped thousands on both of these non-currents.
