I sure wish they had those last year before I hacked up my dash!

It looks like a nice piece. But for $150, I will pass and continue with it strapped to the underside of the dash.
      Be excellent to one another.

X2! Nice piece of hardware but $150 is not worthy of splitting the wallet open.

You will also see that they have a new RGB Music controller. They have also revised the XS-10fa and SW-10fa sub. Ive got one going in a 22 Sea Pro as we speak and will post some pics and info.

For those that think $150 is to expensive for a solid billet aluminum fixture, hopefully I can add some perspective. I took an aluminum switch plate .125" thick out of a 38 Formula down to a local fab shop for them to cleanly cut 2 .75" by 1.5" holes for 2 new switches. It cost me $40 to remove material. IMO, $150 for that is a steal!

Just come up with your own measurements for the design you want and have a 3D printing company make one:

I've priced some 3D stuff here in Vegas and $150 won't get you a mount like these, although this method will get you a custom mount vs the 2 WS is offering.

Mike, I had noticed that they changed out the RGB music controller, do you know why? Was it a supplier issue or does the new one have some other benefits?

I wish they had some option of a hard mount controller, I hate digging around the glove box hoping to find the remote.

When you say priced it, as in you supplied them with the drawing or that was them designing it for you? My local library has a 3D printer and you just pay for the materials with your supplied drawing. I'd be curious as to the breakdown of the costs. I haven't personally done it, only gone off of a coworker's SO making her own things via the shapeways website and she's making small items for as little for $3 to $5 and large items for $15.

EDIT - library printer is only 5"x5"x5" and the part has to be smaller than that - not big enough for me to try making one.

BTW - I could be totally off base on how much it costs. I just look at some of the car stereo install kits and they are $20 to $75 and come with a ton of plastic parts in them. WS probably has to pay more because of the low volume compared to car stereo kits and that may be why they are asking $150. Maybe they aren't getting them popped out for the $10 that I think they are.

I looked at some small scale building models and other random things, providing the drawing files, and prices were in the hundreds. I'll have to keep looking and definitely check out the website. Thanks for the info!

I think we (Offshore Marine in Henderson, NV) are installing one of these brackets in an R20, I'll have to verify and get pictures if correct.

We are are considering to have our local audio shop make a custom fiberglass mount for under the dash and wrap it with matching vinyl (getting the vinyl through out Tige dealer) as the interior/lower dash section. Not sure what it will cost, my buddy just happens to own the shop. They did offer up a deal if they can work on it when time permits - no schedule. This works well since the boat sits for a good portion of the year. As mentioned by Mike, if this is made from aluminum, this is actually a good price...just try to get your local fab shop to one-off this for $150
