    New Boat

I just ordered a new boat. It should be ready in mid April. The boat is being built in Ontario Calif about 10 minutes from the house so I get a chance to see the details almost on a daily basis. We elected to keep the 2005 24V, and it will stay in the family. The new boat is a 27 foot Essex Raven. The family will now have two boats. One for the younger generation to surf wake board etc. and another one for the older generation to just cruise and have a good time.
We are already planning on a trip with both boats and have a great family outing.

Congratulations on the new boat and for keeping the 24V close by! "Long live the V!" I used to commute within a block of that factory when the 10 and 60 freeways turned into a parking lot. I never knew it was there. Cool! Do they let you come by and see it being built?
Mods: MLA BIG Ballast System (1800+ Custom sacs, 2 500 W705 sacs under bow), Duffy Surf Flap Mod, Trimmed Swim Deck, Top-Mount Starter

Congratulations! That is cool. You will have quite the convoy on your way to Mead or Powell.

I recognize Jim WIlkes on one of the pictures. Must have been taken on a Hot Boat picture shoot.

                Stingreye,
I get to see the building of this boat almost on a daily basis. These folks are great and have no issue of customers watching their boat being built. I made some changes in the way the colors are laid out on the boat, had them change the fuel tank and put a tank on each side and make a storage compartment in the center, and had them shorten the trailer. There are additional switches and fuel gauges as a result of the two tanks. All this at no extra cost. NONE. The owners are very open to ideas from the customers to make their boat better and encourage suggestions.

                    RZRCO23,
The cuddy area is very roomy. there is plenty of head room. the walls and roof are all soft vinyl same maetrial as the seats. Very nice. Four people can sit there with absolutely no problem.
