    Nice looking boat! Congrats.

If you don't mind me asking..... I was just wondering what made ya go Z1 vs. VLX with Bu after your Axis. Did ya not like the boat... the dealer? No pressure on an answer, was just wondering.

I went with the z1 because of surf wave and dealer. I haven't been real impressed with the surfgate system it's cool that you can switch side to side but the unlisted wave still lacks in my opinion. I feel that the fit and finish of tige is a step ahead and love the new interior. My local dealer is also great they sale tige and MC and have been great helping me even on my Axis. The z1 when weighted properly is a great surf boat with the VX. We are going pro ballast and custom surf sacs in the rear. I have always liked the look of tige and was dead set on getting one last time around but ended up getting a deal on the axis which was a great boat just not the boat for my surfing family.

Great to hear that Gibbs114. I have tried to tell people that a listed wave is taller, longer and has more push. Everyone believes what the salesman tell them,so they think surf gate is the bomb. We surf to have fun. We aren't worried that it takes 10 minutes to switch sides. I'm usually the only Goofy rider anyway, but i can surf regular too. I'm not saying surf gate isn't surf able. Just not as big or long a wave with less push.

My wife and I both ride goofy so we don't switch much.

Congrats on the new ride. Nice color choice! Does Tige now offer the WS420 EQ installed as part of the factory system? That EQ is awesome and absolutly worth it simply for the tower/interior volume adjustment for us. I am sure you will enjoy the new ride.

Thanks for the reply! When the wife and I were buying our boat it was between the Bu and Tige, that's why I was wondering. We obviously decided on a used Tige but it's always interesting to hear other's opinions.
