Pick up our new rzr this spring for the fam. Looking at wakesurf boards. I have been surfing(actual waves) for years and I am 200lbs and 6"1'. Can anyone give me any advice? Brand?

Welcome to the site. Post up some picks of your boat. As far as boards go I would look at boards from Walker Project, SoulCraft, Brigade, Doomswell to name a few. these will all be actual surf oriented and you being an ocean surfer like myself I think you would enjoy these. I would suggest a board around 4' 10" or 5' depending on the size and push of your wave. Check out Wake9.com and the reviews from the Polar Bear event where we had a lot of these boards there. started on a broadcast and grew tired of it quickly. bought a phase5 daniello pro back in '08 and it's been a great board. taught several on it and it still sees some time behind the boat today. have an IS 4-skim and it's a real fun board but slippery. not a board at all for new riders.
we are pretty much all surfstyle now and have a ronix, cwb and 2 soulcrafts that get the majority of the time behind the boat.
as mentioned, find a dealer that will let you demo some boards or a few people in the area that you can try out. that's the best way as mentioned by topaz.2012 22ve.. RIP 4/17
