    New Tige Owner ...

    Hi All,

I've been a long time lurker in these forums while I plotted and schemed my way into acquiring the perfect boat for my family. That day finally came today.

This is my new (to us) 2013 RZ2. It is more or less loaded up with all of the goodies, including VX. The clock reads 32 hours. The painful part is that I picked the boat up this morning and have just now returned from putting it into storage for the next three months.

I have observed this to be a very informative forum with a great deal of cooperation and collaboration. I'm looking forward to participating in the community.

Looks great, congrats. Where do you plan on boating, the ridge, little bow, stafford or st Mary's?

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

We have grown fond of boating at St. Mary's as it is within 45 minutes from house to launch. If not there, we will head to Lake Newell where our friends live on the lake. Other plans for this summer include a week at either Shuswap, Koocanusa or Osoyoos - love the warm mountain lakes!

I'm in shuswap for the first couple weeks in august. The best lake in Canada IMHO.

Where do you stay and could you recommend a place? Thanks

Good question. I stay at my dad's place in canoe so I've never had to rent a place. August is a busy time. If you want lake front with a marina then I suggest you look in either sicamous or blind bay. There are resorts there that can hook you up.

Otherwise you can look to rent a cabin. There are websites where you can find rental properties on lake front. They aren't cheap but lake front is fabulous. I can help you sort something out if you need. Right now I'm in Korea so I'm not much help.
