    Where to get swim platform

I have an 02' 22i with a teak swim deck. Does anybody know where I can find a fiberglass one? I've looked online but cant find anything...surely there is a place to get these without having to get one custom built.

I think in 02 it wasn't even an option, so I am pretty sure you are going to have to get one custom built if you want one.

The next best thing might be to Rhino-line the teak. It makes it very durable and then you no longer have to worry about oiling the teak.
    Be excellent to one another.

I think Talltigeguy is right, custom is going to be your only option.

I have seen some of the newer ones for sale. I wonder if one of them can be retro fitted?

image.jpgimage.jpgI have a 2012 (RZR) swim deck I do not need now that I just installed the new VX and new swim deck.
Not sure what it is worth hanging in my garage and shipping cost. It is electric blue, undamaged, with brackets. It measures about 71 inches by 31 inches. I would imagine it can be painted any color and modified to fit.

Let me know if anyone close is interested.image.jpgimage.jpg

Id be interested in it... couple questions.

                1. can you get me pics of the mounts on the hull that the brackets bolt too.
                2. and can you give me the measurement center to center on those.

My boat has a different style mounting bracket. The brackets interlock and pin in place. If i can find a way to bolt it up I'd definitely make an offer. If the measurements match up maybe I can find the hull brackets that go with yours from dealer. But I would have to have someone install them. Im not gonna mess with the through hull stuff that is epoxied on. Just let me know when you get a chance. if its easier to text than get on here and upload.... my number is 903 284 3873. Thanks ,Lyle

scratch that.... just need the measurement of the mounting points underneath the deck itself. I can just screw it to my existing brackets. Wasn't even thinking! just text me and if it will work, I want it! I will obviously pay for shipping. will probably cost 50 to 75 to ship.

The bracket measurement is about 51 1/4 inches center bracket to bracket.
The swim deck is about 100 lbs so shipping could be costly depending how far it has to get shipped.
As of tonight, nobody has claimed the swim deck due to shipping distance. If interested, email me

That looks like a great find! I hope the curve where the transom meets the boat is about the same.

Talked to nick via phone and it will not work for my 02 22i due to the fact my existing brackets are at 60" center to center. If anybody has one that will bolt to that pattern let me know. Id be willing to trade my teak if interested. with some cash to boot. Its in really good shape. Im doin some upgrades and wanted a bigger deck that I could paint to match.

Why couldn't you glass in some starboard or wood to get the mounting points under the platform to match your brackets? I think that's going to be your only option, besides having a custom platform built. If you handy you should be able to do it, and I'm sure a local body shop would be able to do it for you as well.

Could you just have a local shop glass over your teak platform and then get a custom sea deck pad? I am not a fiberglass expert so that may be asking for problems but it could be a possible option.

Never mind, just saw your comment about wanting something bigger than what you currently have. Years ago I built a platform for my old supra out of 1 1/8" plywood. Just cut the shape I wanted, covered it with a couple of coats of epoxy resin, painted it, mounted the brackets and added gator grip to the top. It was really easy and cheap. No idea how well it held up long term but it worked well for at least one season until I sold the boat. I would think a local shop wouldn't charge too much to do an actual fiberglass job on one if you already had it cut out.
