I love the purple and black ASR. Very nice looking. Isn't that a different ASR sticker on the side? I think it really makes it look nice.

Rather than posting yet another boat show thread I will piggyback on this fellow Canadian thread and post what I saw at the Calgary boat show!

Hyperactive had a killer display including everything Tigé sells. The ASR was there in blue and black. Overall I'm going to echo the sentiments of others and say this boat is not ready for prime time given the level of competition. The G boats and xstar were superior in my opinion. On fact even the other Tigé boats looked better. I can't really say why exactly but it just looked thrown together.

My opinion of the ASR remains unchanged. It is a purpose built heavy hauler. It looks more like a freight truck than the sleek sports car the rest of the Tigé lineup represents. I just can't get around to loving it but I will still say I love that Tigé is tackling that market segment.

The new xstar in orange. I met and spoke with a guy who was a pro wake boarder for master craft. Andrew.... or Anthony. Very nice guy. Had great things to say about the Tigé wake.

Cool. I didn't notice him in that picture. But yes, that is him.

I didn't look for a price on the ASR. I was literally chasing my two year old the entire time. He kept me from really enjoying the show.

I only saw the price of the new Z1 and it was over 10% higher than what I paid in October. The Canadian dollar has tanked.
