We were at the show today and finally got to see the ASR. It is a monster. I was impressed with it. Many cool features. The in floor and walk thru coolers are great. Compartments are huge. Got to meet Tony Fusssel in person. Super nice guy with lots of information. Did confirm that these boat show boats are not production boats, but for the shows like others have said. There were a few things here and there with them, but not the glaring issues some have said they saw at other shows. Overall it looks like a great boat and I think price will tell. I could not believe the prices overall. It was amazing the number of towboats that were priced in the 6 figures.

There was a comment made on another thread that the ASR still was not in production, they still had some issues to work out. But they wanted to show case the ASR at the shows so they were shipping pre production boats to the shows that would be going back to the factory.Originally posted by talltigeguy View Post

I was in the first ASR up in Reno last fall and even without the few changes they were making or made, was very impressed. Everyone seems to look for something different as for the fit/function/style of the boats, but this boat really worked for me. The storage was "right" for how we use the boat. The seats and interior were comfortable and functional, again, for how we use the boat. I can't say I would buy one as of now based on price since surfing is our main activity and a Z1/Z3 would be just fine, but if I had the $$ laying around I wouldn't hesitate.Originally posted by harv View PostComment
