Here are a couple pics of the KC boat show ASR that performance marine brought. The boat was actually supposed to do another show up in chicago or somewhere up there but due to perfomance marines boat not being built and ready yet they had to borrow in order to have on show. From talking with them it seems that Tige has been overwhelmed with orders for the new ASR. This ASR also has the metallic flake in the paint which is an option and I gotta say that the metallic flakes really sets the blue color off. It looks frickin awesome in other words!! The suggested msrp was around $140k but had a show special of $116k with trailer. I know several ppl have commented on here and questioned Tige's build quality and I was beginning to wonder myself but after seeing the craftsmanship in this boat I have no doubts about what Tige can throw out of their factory. The boat was practically flawless from gel coat to interior. The sound system was exceptional also. So a huge double thumbs up to Tige.
They also had designer danny and pro surfer ashley kidd at the show, which was nice to see and meet the ppl behind these Tige's. The tige booth was ten times better than the competition as far as pro shop merchandise to being able to walk in the boat with the stage setup and not having to sign a credit app to walk throught them! The only question or thought I had was that surfer Ashley had no pictures to sign due to tige dropping the ball on that and if it weren't for me watching videos and knowing who she was we probably would've walked past her. IMO it would be nice if Tige would've taken the time to do an actual booth for signing photos etc for these pro riders as they take time out of their busy schedules to do these events and from what I saw many ppl missed her or walked past due to them not knowing her. (Not ashley kidd's fault) MY 2 girls were able to meet her and is an inspiration for them to see someone so talented that is so down to earth friendly. So thanks to ashley and tige for doing that!!
The one thing I would personally like to see on these boats is a cooler in the rear transom where the surf board is positioned etc as I hate ppl going in and out of my boat to grab drinks!
