    Tige Touch (and Gauges?) "Freezing"

About once or twice a trip, I will be driving the boat, and my Tige Touch screen will just freeze. All the readings (RPM's, speed, TAPS, etc.) will freeze where they are, and nothing will happen when I touch the screen. The boat continues to operate normally. It will stay that way until I stop, shut down, and then start it back up again. After that, everything goes back to normal.

When this happens, I think the analog gauges freeze as well (although I can't remember that for sure right now).

I've asked the dealer to check it out, but because it doesn't happen while the boat's in the shop, they haven't been able to diagnose the issue, and they say they haven't heard it happening to others.

Has anyone else had this happen, and does anyone have any thoughts on a cause/solution?

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, all the gauge signals are digital and distribute through the damn screen, including the analog gauges. Sea Ray pioneered this unfortunate and problematic system and when their systems fail, we'll first reset the computer by unplugging it, waiting an hour and then reattaching. It's always a crapshoot whenever it will happen again, but the fix is a new computer.
Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

Try updating the software first mate. If that doesn't fix it then replace the viper unit!
