I personally would leave it at Frost since its below the water most of the time. Also isnt a painted VX an upgrade too?

I like the suggestion of touring the factory. I purchased a 2014 RZ2 and am just waiting for spring to take delivery.

I would leave it frost also. It is a price option to have it painted and it wasn't cheap. Like $800 I think and like Matt said its underwater anyway. waste of money IMO!

I think it looks nice when the platform and Vx match the lines already on the boat. So in your case, the green platform and white Vx. In my case black and white... it almost blends right in.

As you can see, my son is clearly excited about it.

Standard motor for the Z1 I believe is the Indmar M57 with 350hp

Thats is correct. The 350hp. Used to be the 343 and it did fine in the z1 so the 350 should do great. Unless you are going to weight super heavy for wake boarding or are at altitude.

                        What about the standard prop?

Standard prop is fine too, again unless you are going to run an unreal amount of weight.

I guess a question to ask is what are you planning to do with the boat? Surf or wake board, or both. How heavy are you going to weight it?

Then you should be fine. You are going to want to run the 930 lbs Custom Tige Enzo style sacs in there. Fly High W005-P and W005-STB. They are made to plug right into the existing hoses for the rear surf sacs.
