I am about to order a 2014 Z1 in the next few weeks and love the fit and finish of all the tige's I've seen but now I've heard some people saying the quality of the boats are going downhill from what they have seen at shows this year. Any thoughts on this.

What your reading about seeing at the shows is all about the ASR's. I haven't seen or read anything about build quality about any of the other models from the shows. Not on any of the 4 or 5 forums I frequent. If you were getting ready to order a ASR I would be concerned. Where you are ordering a Z-1 I would not. Now if your talking about all the Tige Sucks crap on WW, I wouldn't put much stock in that.
Now there is always going to be some negative posts about any brand. Boats are hand made one at a time items. There is going to be issues and there might be the occasional bad boat, with any manufacturer. Also if your talking Wake World, for whatever reason Tige seems to be the whipping boy over there. People seem to go out of their way to run them down, happens to other brands too, but Tige seems to take the brunt of it. Take it with a grain of salt. If you are happy with the dealer and the boats you have personally experienced at the dealership, then you should feel confident about pulling the trigger.

Please allow your dealer the time to rig the boat and give it a good sea trial BEFORE you go and see it. then, prior to you taking actual delivery, you and the dealer rep take it for another sea trial so you can verify everything works.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

X2 on all that has been said above. WW is one site that dogs Tige but then what do those trolls know.
If I was buying a new boat I would take a factory tour for sure. If I can get the time I am going for a tour anyway. I think a good dealer will address any concerns you may have before you take delivery as well as follow up on anything after the sale. That is why I went Tige' as I really liked my local dealer and was looking for continued support.Wake Up or Stay On Shore!

Had a great conversation with Tony. It really reenforced to me that Tige is listening to what we say on this board and others. We bought our First Tige because of the dealer. We continue to own Tige's because of the dealer and People like Tony at the manufacturer. I have owned 6 or 7 different brand inboards(I think) over the years and this is the first time a high level person has wanted to talk to me about my experiences. Says a lot about what Tige is doing and where they are going. No manufacturer is perfect, but they are taking the extra step, IMO!!
Thank you Tony and Tige!

I have toured the factory twice. It was awesome! Everyone in the factory are super friendly and eager to answer any question you have. They are also wanting to hear any suggestions you have to make Tige's easier to use or more functional.I have owned other brands of boats and i feel Tige is very high quality and a very good value. I'm on my second Tige. The only reason i bought the Second Tige is it looked so sexy. I don't think any other boat appeals to me as much as a Tige. Malibu would be my second choice but i'm completely happy with my Tige.I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

I agree with boardman, the Tige' dealer in the cities area for MN is great. However, I don't own a Tige' today due to reasons that I won't talk about on here! They make a good boat for the right price... haven't seen the ASR yet but seems that price is whack for what I've been hearing about the quality. I guess I'll see it first hand at the MSP boat show.
