    Mke boat show report

Milwaukee boat show has R20 (white) basic package $49k excluding trailer, Z1 (steel blue with graphics) $82k, Rz2 (mke brewer/Marquette colors - doesn't do it any justice) $90k, and ASR (black and red) $132k!

Sorry no pics of boats but did take pics of sticker prices to better understand options. Looking to upgrade from r20 to either z1 or rz2, Surf family. Wife likes the bow space of rz2, but feel like z1 will give better ride and wake?

ASR looked awesome, loved the board storage in transom. As they say in that game show "press your luck", big money!!!

let me help ya out a little
rz2 was awesome... loved the colors.

asr was 132 as stated and had the 450, not the 550.

The rest of the quick numbers I jotted down as we walked around.. I thought the z1 was overpriced.

I didn't get every boat as some didn't have prices and all the moomba prices were msrp, no boat show deals listed.

pricing on the sheets... no msrp, just boat show..

In defence of the Z1, it is only 6" shorter than an RZ2, but $7k cheaper in this instance. Obviously options will shift that up or down either way, but it is a far newer design and likely worthy of a marginal price increase over the RZ2. In this case, it is actually cheaper. In my view, they should be priced about the same, all things being equal.

Sandm - thanks for the backup on pics, surprised I wasn't in one..as I must of spent three hours going in between the z1 and rz2. Traffic seemed light on Sunday, was surprised they weren't more aggressive on the boat show deal. The founders son was there, but tony was missing! Where's your home lake?

it was busy on saturday when we were there. lots of interest in the ASR and did see several shopping the r20/z1. perceptions were the moomba guys were busier than any other dealer and the sanger guys would have been better served getting a poker game going with the interest and location they were stuck in but I'm sure other times were a different story. I, too was disappointed to see the lack of aggressive pricing but a few comments above about skipperbuds makes sense. I didn't snap a pic of the options listing on that z1 but knowing what my cousin paid for his '13 and another minnesota owner shared what he paid last summer, that boat is overpriced.

no home lake yet. spent most of last summer on the fox river then out to the bay to chill. was my first season in GB. I really want to make green lake my home lake but it's a drive. most of the water around GB is pretty green in the summer. disappointing coming from deep mountain runoff reservoirs in Idaho. That's some clear/clean water.
