Lake Mead 2014 was AMAZING! Thank you, Bad05 for organizing such a great event. I'm very glad I was able to make it out and visit with everyone and even get in a great surf sess in the beautiful water at Temple Bar. It amazes me the number of Tige Owners that travel from all over the US and even Canada this year to attend this event!

The weather was unbelievably fantastic, the Tige wave was amazing and the camaraderie and wonderful hospitality made for a fun-filled, unforgettable day at the lake. Thank you for the opportunity for my family and me to #BeAPartOfIt.

My husband and I enjoy attending Tige events, seeing old friends and meeting new ones, and this one ranks at the top! For those who were unable to attend, mark your calendars for next year.

Tim and Annette, it was great meeting you at the dock, I think it was fate, we really enjoyed the day at the lake with you. I'm glad RJ's expertise was able to dial in your surf wave, it was simply amazing to ride! Hope you had a great 28th anniversary.

For those giving Bad05 a hard time about the AVX, I've ridden it behind the Z3 and it is the most innovative product to date! Now the rider has the control to dial in the perfect surf wave and if needed, change it on the fly.... With it being so new to the public I wasn't able to have one at the lake this weekend. They will be delivery to dealers very soon, you definitely will need to visit your local dealer to see all the new 2015 Tige innovations.

Have a great rest of your summer!

I am confused about what specifics you want. Those are detailed out very well in multiple other threads. The new surf system is an adjustable AVX. Instead of it being fixed, it is attached to 2 lenco actuators that move it up and down. You can even get a remote that can be used by the surfer to move it on the fly. Not much more detail to it other than that. I think Bad05 was trying not to derail this Lake Mead thread too much since it is pretty well off topic. For more details you can search for the thread about remote controlled surf waves or the ASR at the Orlando show a few weeks back. Both threads provided the specifics of how the system works.

The Lake Mead reunion was great. I think everyone had a good time, only 1 boat ran out of gas, and nobody wrecked a prop to my knowledge. Thanks to everyone I got to ride with, and to Bad05 for his work in putting it together!
      Be excellent to one another.

It was an awesome trip. My whole family had a blast. Thank you to everyone! I will take picks of the stash of goodies we took home. The sponsors for this event were awesome. Thanks Jean, bad 05, tall, and everyone else who made this event happen. Can't wait until next year's reunion.

Thank you Bad05 for stepping up and putting together another fantastic reunion. This was my second one to attend and the attendance gets better every year. It was great to see past friends as well as making new ones.

Thanks to all those who brought boats and took us all out on them. I know all of you took time out of your busy schedules and spent both time, money and effort to bring you boats out. Some traveled a great distance just to attend and bring their boats. Very much appreciated. There was a great representation of the Tige' lines as well as many different boards to ride. Another great thing is there were no attitudes and just a very welcoming feeling from all the owner's. I know for one that I felt the family atmosphere that all of us shared.

I personally rode behind at least 5 different models and although each had different wake characteristics all were amazing to ride. Great shape, height and push.

Thank you Emily and RJ for your coaching and tips. It is very welcome and thanks for letting us ride the boards that you ride. Great experience and fun. Good luck to you Emily this coming week. Hope you slam the competition.

It was great to meet you Jean, the women that all of us that has ever contacted the Tige' factory goes through. Loved seeing you ride and glad you made it. Thanks for the welcoming invite to the factory for a tour. It was also great to learn about the new Indmar engines that Tige will be using in the new line up.

Thank you to Emily and your parents for welcoming me onto your Z3 for some pulls and riding tips. You guys are great and loved it. Your wave is fantastic and I never should have ridden behind you boat. Now I have to go rob a bank to get one. I thought my 24ve was a great wake but the Z3 was super impressive. Can't wait to see what the AVX wave is going to be. By all accounts from listening to what Bad05 had to say about it I guess it is on my list of must haves.

To all those who did not make it out. Well you should have. Mark your calendars for next year. I am sure there will be an even better representation of the Tige' models and hopes that the new ASR and the AVX will be there.

Thanks to all the sponsors as there were some amazing items given away after the dinner. And thanks to all those who gave their time and effort in making this a wonderful time. TTG the shirts this year are awesome. Great chose. And Dave thanks for putting together the gift certificate idea and reaching out to all of us to recognize John and the hard work that he does putting all this together. Already looking forward to next year.

How about we make it a little longer next year, like the whole week????? The weekend just went by waaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too fast?!!! We had an awesome time too. Thanks to the Black Widow crew who got both me and my son surfing for the first time ever, now we need gear…and a new boat…hmmmmmmmm
John, awesome job, again, so don't expect anyone to step up if you ever try to hand off the reigns. Beck's first comment back on our boat was "Surfing is my new favorite hobby." DUH. H20, glad your boat stayed afloat and it was so much fun hanging out with you guys. Chp, stoked you guys came all the way and it was great to hang with you guys on Sunday.
It might have been the tequila or I really was concussed but I keep getting flashes of memories from different parts of the weekend and they're all good, especially the saturday night lightning storm on the dock, tons of fun and loud stereos… are we there yet? are we there yet? are we there yet? 364 days left...
Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

I too want to thank John for all his efforts, I would like to apologize for having to leave all of a sudden. I got a phone call just after lunch that my dad had suffered a minor stroke back in Vegas so I had to haul *** back to town to see him at the hospital. I am happy to inform that he is doing well. I was driving back to town so fast that I had my first trailer blowout on the highway, I'm glad nothing bad happened and we made it back to town safe.

No joke, we were discussing coinciding a week long trip out there culminating with the reunion weekend.... maybe an unofficial pre-party next year

We really dug the location as it was our first time at Temple Bar. I couldn't believe how empty the lake was with the great weather and water temps. We hung a left out of the harbor middle of the day Saturday and surfed the main drag that direction for two hours and didn't even see another boat let alone one of the Tige's out there. I think everyone went to the right.....

Sorry, we couldn't do more socializing with everyone, we were mostly corralling in the kids, keeping them fed and happy when we were off the water.

Russ and his family told me they had a blast too and what a great group of people we had there I am surprised no one snuck a Tige a sticker on his boat though

It was a thought, we figured that could wait until next year if he still didn't have a Tige!

We had yet another great time there this year. Thanks again to Bad05 for his fantastic coordination, Tige Boats, Offshore Marine, and all the other sponsors! And great looking shirts by Tall.

Gil - sorry to hear about your father, but glad that he is doing well. Don't let last year's prop incident and this year's blowout keep you away from next year!

Special thanks to those who let me and/or my kids join them on their boats, and to Emily and RJ for their tips and pointers. It was greatly appreciated.

I was terrible about getting many pictures this year, as I was usually either behind the wheel or behind the boat, but here are a few. Aidan was incredibly excited after he managed to #1- slalom ski for the first time (and deep water starts, too), #2- stay up on the wakeboard for more than 30 seconds for the first time, and #3- surf wireless for the first time. All in the same weekend!

Aidan on one ski (sorry for the really poor quality):

                    on the wakeboard:

behind Black Widow's 24Ve with coaching from RJ:

Unfortunately, his brother Riley was a little less enthusiastic about trying out everything. But at least he gave surfing a couple of attempts. Maybe next year...

That beautiful clean wave was courtesy of The Black Widow's boat. Mine was a little less impressive. Here was Wakeman22 behind our boat:

Not a wake shot, but here is Talltigeguy foiling with us:

Sweet pics! Keep them coming! Two things I have never done but those guys always seemed dedicated and bad @$$ are those Foilers and Footers. Something about the fact that every foiler wears a helmet and its a small group of guys that do it, make it seem even more intimidating.

We were bad on the picture front.... We brought our go pro but I never took it out of the bag I will see what pics we have tonight.

Looks like you all had a blast. Are non Tige owners, but TO Members welcome to these events? I am sure thick skin would be needed, but all in good fun...right?

Thanks again to EVERYONE that came out to Temple Bar and supported the Tige brand. We here at Offshore Marine really appreciate it. This was my first time attending the event on Saturday, and the one thing I noticed is how close and how friendly the Tige community is. It is a great brand and the people that are involved are even better. I learned how to actually get up on a surf board for the first time and I must say I AM ADDICTED. It was a blast being out there with everyone and I can't wait to do this again and get to know people a little better. We are looking forward to the reunion next year and we plan on reaching out to more people and making this event HUGE. If anyone needs any information or is interested in purchasing a Tige boat please contact us here at Offshore Marine in Henderson, Nv. Once again thank you to everyone who came out and supported.

                              Thanks,
                              Alex

Thank you, thank you. So much fun in the short time I was there... It was nice to put some names to faces. Special shout out to Steve for the pull, maybe next year I can figure out your squirrelly boards. And, thanks for goodies from the sponsors. Awesome. I will definitely be back next year and hope to bring my boat, too.

While I usually just lurk on the message boards, I'll try to add my 2 cents in the future.
