We need a like button here. They want money...I fail to see how this will protect Nevada. Can I buy it at the gate?

Nope not available at gate, whole thing started as I am always going to places that inspect so I called up Temple Bar and they told me to be sure I bought a sticker and its NOT available there. But over the phone and as long as you have the decal number to match you are good, when I bought mine they said I could launch that day if I wanted.

I think this is a sign that Nevada has been infiltrated with too many Californians....

It is simply a money grab, nothing more. Think about the process to get the sticker, all you do is pay money. No inspection is required.

It is interesting that I was at Lake Mohave last week and this was never mentioned. I am from CO and did not have a sticker. I was up at the basin a few miles from cottonwood and had to do a safety inspection by a Ranger (that's another story LOL) and he never mentioned the AIS sticker or if I had been inspected....

I received a ticket on the 4th for no sticker....didn't help that I had forgotten to even register my boat for the year! HA! Just another fee.....but hey, they did add a voluntary wash station which could be handy come end of year to clean out the bags and bottom of the boat with HOT water!

How much was the ticket? I have been to Mohave at least 5 times this year and was never stopped or had anyone mention this...

Crazy! In CA we already pay a fee for this and have an ugly green sticker to prove it. It looks like the NV one has to renew every year?

I was wondering if out of state boats were exempt.....might be worth checking into further. Our decal is a yearly renewal....whatever I guess! Soon enough there won't be enough water in the lake to boat so no worries....ha! My ticket was $116 but should have been more since I didn't have it registered or the AIS decal, also had forgotten to put the new sticker on the trailer but luckily had remembered to register that so I was issued 2 warnings and a ticket.

On a separate note, I was able to add Agenda Surf to the list of sponsors and am still working on a few others. I'll throw it out there again.....if anyone knows of potential sponsors, please pass them along or have them contact me for info. Thanks again Gil for the one you found, the more the merrier!

Glad to see everything is still a go even with the more than sad photos of the lake being so low. I will be trying to come out 17th thru the 24th. I saw that the regular rooms are all booked...so if they don't have a cabin then I guess I will be camping it. Hope all is well with everyone and as always, Thanks Bad05 for getting and keeping this Reunion going. Dug last years shirt out today from my storage unit! Hope to see everyone and more this year!
