I just got a new Z3, was wondering what anchers you guys use and where you store them at in the boat?

Box anchor stored in front of observers seat. This has worked really well for me even in really windy conditions where others were failing. http://www.slideanchor.com/hlm_shopi...1-c5e749bb8688

I have the box anchor for my 24ve and it works great. I think it's the small size. Came with a nice red vinyl bag-store in bow section under the dash
Only hassle is the opening it up/setting the spring screw to make it a box, or undoing the box to re-store it--not hard, just tricky. Remember to let all the mud fall off before you bring it in boat. Stores easily and hold great.
Works way better than my old danforth or a mushroom.

I have the large box anchor for our 24V. Best anchor out there in my opinion. I have never had a problem with it holding but the lake where we boat is primarily a soft/muddy bottom. It can be a little pain to take out set up/put away like murphini stated but is really not that hard. I think you would be happy with it. I store ours under the front observers seat as well.

I have the small and large box anchor. Had just the small at first, but it did not hold in windy conditions, so I bought the large. The large holds great.
We typically anchor in one cove for the whole trip, and I use the large for that. I keep the small on board for short excursions where I might want to toss out an anchor to hang in one place for an hour or two.
I bought them from my dealer, but I think they were priced the same as if I bought direct. I did see him (the owner of Slide Anchor) at the LA boat show a year or two ago, and he had a boat show discount going (something like 20% if memory serves). I don't know if he goes to other shows, and I don't know where you're from, but the exhibitor list shows he's going to be at the LA show February 6-9.
