As much as I wanted to be part of the Tige family, I have unfortunately started down the path of Malibu ownership due to price. I wish I could buy a boat out of my area because other dealers seem to be so much cheaper.

if what your saying is correct, it's too bad that a dealer can have that effect. can you drive to another dealer to buy your boat and then just have the local dealer service it? or are you afraid of their service if you don;t buy it from them? i know that tige frowns on not buying from your local dealer, but this sounds like it's worth an exception.

To me, a 22V is the same as a 21 VLX beacause you lose foot if not more due to the rake in the transom. I can get a VLX with a T/A trailer, 340 EFI Monsoon, SS rub rail, swoop tower, bow cushion insert, wind screen, bolster seat, basic stereo ( Sony AM/FM/CD/MP3 and 4 blast spearkers ) for $39,450. For a similar setup on the Tige I was quoted $46,950!! He quoted me $38,000 for a 21i where the Malibu dealer quoted ne $32,995 on a standard Wakesetter similiar in configuration! If life is a waste of time, and time is a waste of life, then let's all get wasted together and have the time of our lives.

Ya it's all in the options man, you start adding up the options on each diff brand and that's where the diff is, comparing apples to apples in the options is way diff. My boat has almost every available option on it and to get the malibu it woulda cost me an extra $10,000. Nautique was an extra $22,000 both for the same comparable styles and exact same options. If your gonna go with a base price then ya gotta look at the overall quality of the boat and still in my opinion Tige comes out on top, never compromise your quality dude
