Was at the Houston Boat Show Saturday and my wife really liked the ASR that Texas Tige had out there. Really clean looking boat and she thought the interior was the most comfortable to sit in of all the boats we looked at except for the X46. I got home and went to the website to try and build one, but no luck. Just curious if anybody knows when Tige might have the build-a-boat feature activated for their newest model.

That looks awesome! Sure would be nice if ALL of us could build one...ragboy working on that? He told me in Sept that it was complete. Are you ordering one then, Matt?
The smiley face means that I am joking, please don't take offense to this post. I know these things take awhile to get right and published into production.Last edited by Timmy!; 01-07-2014, 10:12 PM.

I actually saw the one at the Houston boat show as well. Really liked the color scheme but forgot to take pictures - I know pretty stupid.
Really liked a lot of the features. I did not think I was going to like the "play pen" bow but to be honest it is huge and looked amazing. Even better was the storage below it. The drivers seat was amazing.
I must admit that the fit and finish were not great. Things like non-smooth fiberglass for the motor hatach. And the thing that bugged me the most was the fact that the drink holder at the drivers seat was partially covered by the side interior panel. Would make getting a drink other than a standard 12oz can difficult to get into it. While these were little things I did not see the same kind of items on the Natique G23 or Mastercraft boats.
Other than that it was pretty cool. Sales guy told me it was $115K and fully loaded. It had the S62 (6.2L 455HP) motor.

No way will I buy a ASR right now.. The fit and finish is HORRIBLE. The center floor is so crooked and Not flat its crazy. all the edges are chipped and bad finish. Go to the Boat show here in denver and look at the black one they have on display.. The FINISH IS HORRIBLE. FOR 140K NO WAY.. If they could fix all the QC issues it would be a fantastic boat. Ive seen three now and Not impressed with the quality of craftsmen **** at all.. I wouldnt even pay then RZ2 price for one with what I have seen! I will take many pictures are the show here in Denver and go into detail what I mean.. I really hope something happens because I would like to buy one but cant do it right now cause of finish and qualitywww.1320diesel.com Home of the Fastest Diesels!
