I don't know the owner other than buying 5 of these from him and he has been great to work with. It is a great way to support USA made products.

Just another way that one of these can be used, one of the 5 I bought went for my parents waverrunner. It the tower model fits on one of the handles on the back of the waverunner. If it didn't fit there we were looking at the handles.

How easy do they twist up and down and do they stay up at speed?

Very easy, you just move it up and down. And yes it will stay up at speed, unless there is not enough tension on the socket. It is his design of the ball and socket with a tensioner on it. You can tighten it with a dime, etc.. So if it is loose you simply tighten the screw and then it is good. I only had to put mine at the tension I wanted it when I bought it and it hasn't moved since. I have used mine two seasons, IIRC. To hold the flag in you use a thumb screw that acts as a set screw.

When we are done for the day I undo the flag tighten the set screw back in push the post towards the tower and were good to go.

If you would like some picks of what I am referring to or close ups let me know.

Thanks for the reply skippabcool. MIT helps us a lot that you have first hand experience with the product. I think a picture from you would really help. It would be the first picture on a Tige also.

One thing Mike the owner told me, about this, was some pro skiers set the tension very loose on the windshield so that the flag drops down on its own once the boat gets underway.

I just bought one. It will definitely be an upgrade from the pvc pipe and zip tie set up I have been using. Thanks for the heads up.

I've had one for several years now that I won at a local event. Works great! I did lose the thumb screw that holds the flag in though so I need to get a new one. Flag stays up very nicely and is still easy to put down.

I can't guarantee anything but he talked that he would warranty the product if there was ever any issue. He's a stones throw from Boyd, unless he has moved.

Not the best pics, sent my son to do it but here are a couple. My tower is down since it is in the garage. Where I have it I can use it with the bimini. We then tuck it down on the inside of the windshield when we're not using it.

Yes you can set it as loose or as tight as you want. So you could either have it stand up against the wind or have it self go down depending on the tension. The screw on the bottom is all that has to be adjusted to tighten or loosen. It is also easy to put the flag in and remove it. I have at minimum a 45 minute drive so I always take it out when we are not on the water.

I had this flag holder and it was great. It functioned beyond my expectations and made it easy for the drver to put up or down easily. Much better than suction cups. Next boat gets one. I got mine from Cabellas.

I just bought one. I was about to check out with paypal, and the first screen was the 'apply payment' button and did not give me a chance to put in the discount code. It might have on the next screen, but I didn't want to go through the hassle for 5 bucks, so I abandoned paypal and just went with the credit card.

Did anyone else have this same problem?
                      Be excellent to one another.

I'm glad you got one. I didn't use PayPal so I don't know about that. Hopefully someone else might have the answer or I can ask the owner.
I'm waiting on my shipment. Maybe tomorrow?
