HAHA!!! I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised if the tongue weight on that trailer is pretty light because the wheels are so far forward.
    Be excellent to one another.

It is kind of odd looking! Those steps won't be useful for anyone but talltigeguy as the boat is so freakin tall that even that step isn't going to help out. It's like 6'8" or 6'10" at the top of the gunwhale's. What's weird is that the tower height from floor to the top is the same as an RZ2/Z3, etc. so they didn't gain anything in the spacing there.

Isn't that what the ladder/steps at the bow is for, since it definitly looks difficult to climb in from the stern?

I does look slightly forward on the trailer, must have done that for tongue weight. With the axles slightly more forward it also might help with launching since the trailer must go deeper to float the boat off, and the axles being more forward might help to prevent the axles from droping off at the end of the concrete slabs at many boat launches, expecially during low water times, maybe?

And your saying the top of the tower is the same height measured from the ground on this boat as it is on a RZ2? That seems un-possible, how high is it?

I think he's saying the dimension from the floor of the boat to the top of the tower is the same. Not the dimension from the ground to the tower. Therefore the cockpit of the boat is not any deeper than the RZ2.

That is what I'm saying. I was expecting the distance to be greater from the floor to the top of the tower but it didn't seem that way.

Oh, that makes more sense, but I see how that can seem perplexing too, but doesn't the boat have lots of "under floor" ballast, so they need room under the floor for that, and as I think and type, you wouldn't want a boat much deeper than an RZ2 or Z3 or else you couldn't see over the sides, and the drivers seat would have to be jacked up higher like a fishing or cruising boat.

Saw the new ASR at the Houston boat show this weekend. It was on display from Texas Tige. Sorry, no pictures but I can tell you it is pretty awesome. The one thing I noticed immediately is how tall the sides are and it was not sitting on a trailer. I did rumage around in it for a while and I must say it is pretty sweet! Lots of room and some impressive features. I really like the removeable cooler. The drivers seat is really nice.

Just wish I had the money!
