Mine is a tower mounted one that you would think the flag would fall out but it never does. The bigger problem is convincing the water police in California that leaving it up while surfing and not relying on my crew is better than having it in someone's hands. It looks like we will get a discount code to use on their website. Each product will be $19.95. That's a slightly better discount for the tower model. They both come with a quality flag (not made in China). That's probably close to a $10 value in itself? He explained all of the quailty that has gone into the design and manufacturing, but I can't remember it all. He did say the tower model was a special machinable plastic rather than metal. Any owners have any input about their experiences? Post up some pictures if you can, please.
We can share, post repost the deal anywhere. He wants to get these in the hands of boaters.

check your local laws first. I know in Idaho, flag has to be attached to a body such as in the prior post you can get away with this if you are stopped and swimming tho.
most watercops there won't ticket but they will pull you over and check for other issues/violations. cuts boating time..2012 22ve.. RIP 4/17
