Man is seemed to take the ARS a while to get to plane, and it sounded like the driver was giving it all he could as it seemed like he over shot PP speed by quite a bit. What was that whistling? Does that motor have a blower on it, or just the wind?

What did you friend think about the wake? I'm not interested in a big boat, but some might want to know his thoughts. Being in the boat how was the fit and finish?

Fit and finish is great. Noise is the blower. Ballast was 5100 lbs. So boat weight and ballast we about 12,000 lbs. Thought it got on plan fast for that weight. Said it's the biggest wake he has ridden

That blower is loud! The boat is cool and that wake is awesome but the whinning from that blower would drive me nuts! One of loudest blowers I've ever heard.

I agree, that blower is loud! My dad has the CTS-V with that same engine and you can't even hear the blower!

I asked about the loudness.. Was told production boats will not be as loud as they are adding sound deading material. This boat didn't have any of it.. It sounds so sick in person tho! =) And the power is so sick

What the Fawk are you talking about ? What you just wrote makes NO sense.

If your talking about what I have said I still stand on my words.. Surf wake Is not better than any other Tige and the price is Still Stupid.. Pay attention to what your reading. Is the boat sick for a wakeboard boat yet.. is the power sick yes. is the interior sick yes handle sick yes. All in which I said before!

I also think the ASR appears to be very loud. I hear engine and transmission noise. This noise sounds very disturbing.

I got to see the boat tonight and damn that thing is sweet! You don't realize how big the boat really is until your standing next to it.... flat out BIG! It was super roomy, especially the bow and the storage space is unreal. I do like the cooler placement and the fact that it can be taken out. My favorite is the seadeck flooring..... for sure. Very cool boat all around! In the future our upgrade will probably be to a Z3 because it's a more comfortable price point for us but cheers to the guys who can shoulder that ASR. Overall, I was highly impressed, nicely done Tige!

It is always hard to tell on cell phone video, but yeah, that engine whine is annoying. Is that the what the 555 sounds like?

The wake looks spectacular, although clearly suboptimal conditions and video footage.
