where does tige mount the on board chargers?

I want to put a on board charger in my new Z3. Was curious to know where they put it from the factory?

Not a factory option that im aware of, but close to the battery is best. The back side of the rear locker wall is a good spot.

Unfortunatly, our boat is in storage for the winter, so I cannot take a pic. We have the onboard charger from Tige in our 2013 Z1. The charger is mounted port side, rear locker. There is a swivel, that allows a panel to be removed on the back of the portside storage area. The charger is mounted on this panel and the plug in is inside the storage compartment near the top.

I wish I could get you pics. It is a nice location for it.

ok so its in the port locker, behind an access panel?

I have the same question. Mine supposedly has one but not sure where it is. Any pics would be great.

As stated above it is in the port locker behind the access panel. Mine has a female 3 prong receptical with a flip down cover that you plug into in the port locker so all you do is plug in an extension cord and walk away. It is a great option. I do not have pictures as mine is in storage as well.

so is it bolted somewhere above the batteries? my batteries are on the port side in the back

On the 2014 model Z-3 it is actually mounted to the back of the battery compartment door (port side), when you pull the door out the charger comes out with it.

I mounted mine behind the rear locker wall just in front of the batteries. The plug is tucked up near the ballast hoses in the upper right corner of the rear locker wall. The first picture is the first place I mounted it, behind the starboard locker panel, but only because I didn't think it would fit in front of the batteries on the port side. I have since moved it to the port panel where there is enough room to mount it in front of the batteries. In the second picture you can see the back of the bolts that mount the charger to the panel.
