Nobody your user name on here says it all "OBAMA4PRESIDENT2016" says it all. Let's just stomp the constitution and let him run again in 2016. LOL. I am not sure the United States we all grew up with be able to survive the next 3 years so let's give him 4 more years NO WAY. You liberals are currently getting what you deserve.

I agree this thread is getting off-topic, but cannot resist a couple of humorous responses:

With some of the "humor" in this post, I couldn't help but think this is funny. Keep my nuts tight to avoid hurting them on the tube or the nuts on the boat"I think I am pretty smart for an idiot"

Nice!
Where did you get the handle? Also, is it high enough to keep the rope out of the water?
Originally posted by WABoating View PostI had a transom handle replacement made with an integrated tow point. It's in a thread somewhere, but here are some photos.
The original factory handle:
The original (outer) and new (center) holes in the transom:
The custom plate I installed behind the new handle/towpoint to distribute the force across a larger surface area:
And finally, the finished product:
BTW, I used kevlar-reinforced epoxy filler between the plate and the transom to further distribute the stress. Otherwise it would just be concentrated on the line where the curve of the transom touches the plate. (The purplish spots elsewhere on the transom are that same epoxy, left over from various experiments.)
With that towpoint, and that backing plate, I don't worry one bit about stresses when towing even multiple tubes with lots of weight on them!

I contacted Tige to find out who makes the handles for them (Specialty Manufacturing, IIRC), then contacted the manufacturer directly and discussed the idea. They were very helpful and crafted up the handle you see in the photo, matching my existing outside hole placement and adding two inner posts for strength right at the tow point.
The ropes drag when they're not taut, of course, but otherwise it works GREAT even when pulling multiple tubes with lots of riders. And I never worry about stress, spider cracks, etc.
