Back In The Family

Well some of you may rememer way back that my wife and I owned an 2006 22V. Long live the V.

We owned that V for two years but had to let it go in the Spring of 2008 due to the real estate down turn. We then recovered and picked up a repo 2005 AVY C4 in Feb of 2009 for a price well below low NADA and got back into the game for three seasons. While it was a nice boat it was just a filler just to get us by and we sold it for a profit in the Spring of 2012. We took the profit from that and added extra to the kitty from what we saved for the last 18 months with no payment. We did start looking at purchasing a used boat last March and river tested two different makes which we were not impressed with so the wait continued.

Fast foward to three weeks ago and my wife found a 2012 RZ2 that had 32 hours on it and was priced 4K below Low NADA. We took a look at it and jumped on it immediately. The bonus is that we can put the tower up while in the garage.

Call it fate I guess but now we are back in the Tige family.

That's a damn good lookin boat. Glad your back. Back in 2009 I had to flirt with the idea of getting rid of my boat while putting my now wife through college. Glad I never had to but it was tough. Glad everything worked out for you!

Welcome back! I remember that boat when it was new at Stayton and was one great looking boat. I have been watching it on Craigslist and wonder why someone had not jumped on it yet. Nice pick-up for sure.

Great find and welcome back. Similar story except for disability issue on my end. I looked since 2011 for a used 20V (size limit) that had 5.7L and a couple of other key options but I found nothing within 6 hours and a couple 10-12 hours away. All of them were rough so we have looked at alternatives.

That RZ2s a super find and I am sure worth the searching and wait. I love how it looks. Enjoy..
