    Glove Box cover ideas

I have a 2001 21V Rider's Edition and my glove box cover finally crapped out (broke at the hinges, etc.). Due to the age and what I've read on here, replacements cannot be purchased. So I was just wondering whether you guys had any suggestions for a replacement?

I have access to a small 3D printer.....but I don't have experience drafting or drawing in 3D. I also have access to a decent shop, but I'm not sure what material to use, etc. and I'm only marginally handy.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

could always take the old one and make a mold out of it, and make your own out of fiberglass and gel coat. or out of fiberglass and autobody filler, and have it painted... loads of options if you have the time and patience.

If you can get me the dimensions I can draw it up and send you the file for your printer. Id get the dimensions myself but my winter cover doesnt come off very easy. I reinforeced my cover and epoxyed the h*ll outa it. Trick to those is the hinges. They tend to get very stiff which causes the lid to crack rather than opening the hinge up.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll try to get those dimensions to you Ruger. My father-in-law has the cover right now.....he wanted a shot at coming up with a solution.

I definitely agree about those hinges. I noticed last summer that they were pretty much not moving at all.
