I was bored and created my own. Haven't got them or installed them yet, but I photoshopped them on to the boat.

          JohnnieMo,
Did you get them dome in Calgary, I haven't put them on mine yet but if there's someone local who can cut them I may get bored one day and do it or just remain lawless, we'll see.

I got mine from Domed Numbers, they were great to work with. Put mine below the rub rail

I tried a couple of different styles and really like the Ultra Black Metallic.
Sent by the random thoughts from the voices in my head... Eric

I wrote them myself in Inkscape. Took about 4 hours, but it was a fun 4 hours. I'm going to do a name for the back of the boat as well. For printing, I know Wicked (a member here) can print them, or you can literally go to any sign shop and have them printed. They just need 3M marine decal stock. For my last boat I just ordered them from an ebay store for $20.

Regarding lawless, my cousin went 10 years without decals. Whenever the RCMP asked him, he just said he hadn't gotten it done yet and showed them the decals in his glovebox.

I just put some on my RZ2. Got them at Domed Numbers in the Tige matched chrome lettering. I don't have any pictures at the moment, but my boat is sitting down on Tom's lot in Helena if you want to take a look. I put them above the rub rail.

It helps to know your local lake popo. I know mine would not stand for the ones that Johnnie posted. The utah law says 3 inch block style letters, and I have seen Ranger John (yeah, we are sort of on a first name basis) giving guys a hard time about custom numbers.

Having said that, I did have them done from Domed Numbers and I think they did a great job, but I am limited from the lake cops on how much artistic license I can use.

                  Be excellent to one another.

I have a Z3 - called Tige to ask what font they used on the side of the boat. Their lettering is all hand drawn, so no font to match. I went with some standard block letters and it looks sharp.

I had script style letters on my boat and got a warning from the local water cops so I ordered these from domed letters as well:

Here is the script that got me the warning:

2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.
                      2013 Toyota Sequoia 4WD W/Timbren SES

When I was in Houston I had a local graphics shop cut letters for me. They said they did this sort of thing all the time. I didn't want block letters.

Here is what Transport Canada has to say:

You must carry a copy of your Pleasure Craft Licence on board at all times and display the pleasure craft licence number on the bow of your boat above the waterline on both sides in block characters that:

are at least 7.5*centimetres (3*inches) high; and in a colour that contrasts with the colour of the bow.

Ewok - in your case the script is a bit illegible and the black is hard to see.

I'll try the fancy ones and see if I get in trouble.

I decided to chance it and do up my custom decals. I got them printed locally at betacuts for $34.

My idea was to find a font close to the "freeride" style by Tigé. I failed so I invented my own. If others want me to design one for them I'd be happy to. I already have all the numbers so I'd just need to make up your letters. If you're from Alberta, huge bonus!
