    Opinions on the Supercharged 6.2L?

About to put in my order for a 2014 RZ4.

What you guys think of the S62? Planning on going with the 455 6.2L but want your opinions on if it is worth the 10k.

No unless you are going to use as tow barge.

That is more motor than typically needed. What are you going to use theRZ4 for?

I would think the 6.0 or the non supercharged 6.2 would be more than enough motor. There are many RZ4's out the running the 5.7L 340-343 HP motors with no problems. It is sort of like the 2 foot itus . we always want more.

Have you ever heard anyone say "Man, I wish this thing had a smaller engine"?

Ten grand goes a long way towards a rocken stereo. I've got an older '08 RZ4 running an Acme prop and lots of ballast. Takes a little while to get up to wakeboard speed (26 mph) fully loaded.

That's a large percentage of overall price, I would want ride behind both and test em in a real world situation, plus a blower is a few more components requiring maintenance. I've had a few boats with blowers on them and had no problems. But they were performance boats and the blower really woke up the top end speed and acceleration

Using it mainly for wakeboarding. Probably just going to stick with the 6.2L NA. Just wanted to hear some opinions
          before putting in my order.

Said it many times. I would never buy another 22+ boat with out the 6.0L in it. Fuel efficient and tons of power to get rolling.

Unfortunately that 6.2 "monster" is garbage. Stick with the naturally aspirated 6.0 to avoid issues with gasoline and forced induction in a boat. After we finish the diesel repower on our boat I may consider offering a repower "kit" for those who want it but there needs to be a finished product to show everybody numbers and performance... Especially with this new ford crap.

There is no more NA 6.0. They have the 6.2L NA and 6.2L SC now.

My fault, they still carry the 6.0L NA but for my topic I was talking about the 6.2L NA vs the 6.2L SC.

Decided to go with the 6.2L NA. Ordered it a couple days ago.

ASR has nothing to do with ENGINE... If I was buying a R20 rzr x3 or rz2 or rz4 it WOULD in fact get the 550

I could see an RZ4 or maybe Z3 with the 550 but an R20 or RZR does not make economic sense on the backend sale down the road. Iffy issue even on an RZ2. Gas anint cheap no more......

If you got the bucks to drop on an RZ4 or Z3 why not go all out

There is no way Id own another RZ2 with anything less.. The 409 is not enough.. And the 450 is 41 more hp which is still not enough...
