Agreed, looks useful. Big concern that most people with adjustable hitches like to have a turnover with two sizes though. I know i use both sizes on my turnover often but the scale part is pretty creative.
I saw it at SEMA and took a picture of it thinking guys on here might like it but then forgot about it. Looked to be well made. I don't think they had any pricing numbers at that time.
not sure I see a need for this? there's a trailer jack that does the same thing. once you have the weight once, it's not going to change that much from trip to trip and for the 99% out there, we are not towing random trailers every other week. most of us have a couple at most that we tow. I think the "assumption" from a liability standpoint are that most trailer/boat manufacturers are designing them to be towed by trucks and wouldn't place axles and front weight where it would put what would be a "standard" tow package in jeopardy.

Yeah, I would have to agree. I tow a lot of different trailers and they are either recreational and as Sandm said, they don't really change that much and the heavy trailers that do change are pintel (sp?) hitches where that thing wouldn't work.
Looks like the negatives would be the extra expense (even if minor), and just one more thing to try to maintain or not break.
