    I'm with NICKYPOO on this one...although I deviate from this occasionally due to unusual wind conditions or when I have to protect the rider.

      That certainly makes sense. I don't really have a good explaination on why I turn to port, just always have.

      Maybe because our ski course is near the bank, and to run it, you almost have to run so that the bank is starboard, forcing you to turn to port .

        I do the slow turn to the right, unless I have all the redneck, white trash boaters or jetskiers around, then I have to protect them. I have put my boat in front of them many times. I really hope they never hit me, but at least we should all survive the wreck, but he may not survie the @$$ beating afterward!
