    What vdrive in z1

I'm changing all fluids in my 2009 z1 and I bought dexron for trans but not sure if my vdrive is a powerplus which calls for pcm synthetic does anyone know what tranny is in a2009 z1, also do I use sae 30 in vdrive or pcm vdrive oil ?

Ok so I guess it's a tough question 56 views and no replies so what are you ex343 owners using in your trans? Dexron and sae 30 in the drive ? Or pcm oil?

In model year 2009 Tige was using an all-PCM drivetrain (at least the ones I've seen). So, if you have a PCM transmission and a PCM v-drive, here are the rules:

      1) Transmission uses Dexron III automatic transmission fluid. Change after the first 25 hours, then annually or every 100 hours thereafter. In heavily ballasted boats, you should change it more often. I change ours every 50 hours when I change the engine oil and filter.

      2) The v-drive fluid is not meant to be changed unless contamination is found. You can open one of the two square-headed plugs and dip to check the fluid. If it's clean and up to the bottom of the threads, no service is required.

      Hope this helps!
