    Surf Board Bimi Pockets

Is there a thread on how to do this? If I find a local shop I’ll have to tell them step by step how I want it. I bought my daughter a wakeboard so I’m running out of room on my racks unless I put my surf boards up top on the bimi. I thought I saw a pic a while back with pockets sewn in and some sort of snap straps? Or was it like a neoprene sleeve they slid into holding them in place?
I'd love to get this done during the winter.

    thx!

That is a surf Bimini that is offered by Tige.

If you read the thread iamcdn quoted, everything beyond the first page shows DIY surf pockets. Mine come up at about page 5.

Mine have worked nicely, after 2 seasons on them. I just took it to my local car upholstery shop and showed them WAboating's pics and we made it work with just mesh sewn into the current bimini. I don't think that this has to be terribly complicated. Mine are custom made to fit my surfboards, so we will see what happens when I get new boards.

        Be excellent to one another.

You're right! WABoating's setup is legit! I'm going to contact him and ship my Bimi to his guy; no sense watching a local shop fumble with this concept.

This is what I did since my speakers are in the way of putting pockets in .....they work awesome. I can even drive with the boards up there.IMG_0997.jpg
