My project for the past 6 weeks

My 2003 22i has been getting a bit dated especially with the great new offerings from Tige'. Our family loves to wake surf, slalom, and wakeboard in that order. I am not yet in a place financially to get a new boat so I decided to invest a bit and spruce up my older 22i. I just got it completed, took it out in the great Vegas weather this past weekend and have been absolutely thrilled with the results. I can't believe a 22i can surf this well. Our new 4'7 Ronix Carbon Parks Thruster was effortless and the wake was amazing like I have never seen it before.
I spent the past 6 weeks (primarily weekends) working on it and the results have been fantastic.
Here is a quick list in order of projects, just in case I happen to inspire any others with aging Tige's wanting to freshen their older boats up.

-Complete detail inside and out (I removed upholstery, detail shop did detail work $400).
-Window Tint (local detail shop did this $200)
-Removed and Re-Powdercoated tower (Local shop - $400)
-Vinyl Carbon fiber wrap on dash (TaroWorks from Amazon)
-Clarion M303 head unit and MW1 transom remote (Amazon)
-Push button start install (can still use key if desired) using Honda S2000 push button (eBay)
    -New Carling switches (eBay)
-Upgraded existing ballast setup. I now have 3 Johnson pumps, 2 Atwoods, 750lbs in RL locker, 400 in RR locker, 650lb up front, 400 aux if needed. (WakeMakers)
-Replaced drivers in Skylon Tower speakers with 8” Eminence PA drivers and a new crossover, painted paper cones with ModPodge to waterproof (parts express)
-Ripped up carpet, sanded down floor, painted with grey Monstaliner bedliner epoxy material (Monstaliner.com)
-New Steering cable Teleflex SSC15417 (Amazon)
-New Krypt dual wake rack and Krypt dual wake surf rack (eBay)
-Installed DECKadence marine flooring which is absolutely amazing (contact Steve at: steveh@hendersonmat.ca tell him Ben from Vegas sent you)

The work you did to your dash is great. I really wanted to to the same thing, but I was lazy and plasti-dipped it. Yours looks way better. Nice work on everything.

Good looking boat! Have you ever attended a local Tige Owner's Reunion?

Great work man! Do you live off of College/95? We are around the corner near Mission/Greenway and have seen a very similar boat.

Great work! Love to see the skis on the tower. The surf wake looks amazing, especially coming from from a DD.

I agree with that statement a 100% - it feels very good when you make something better than you got it!

                              Nice work!

DIY carbon fiber is very sweet.

How do you like that surfboard, I am for sure looking for something new, and have wondered if that might be a good one?
                              Be excellent to one another.
