I plan on hibernating for the winter. no sled, no 4wheeler and gave up skiing a long time ago, not that it would do much good around here. being from idaho, I don't see much in the way of real mountains around here.

what's the halfway point? went thru wausau to minneapolis this summer to the 10k lakes wakesurf event. looked like a nice town. I think I had dinner there at a mexican place just off the interstate but don't really remember..

The Hero 3+ is what GoPro recommends for wakeboarding. It is listed as unavailable on their site at this time. A friend had an earlier model GoPro this past summer and we got some really cool shots bf it came off his board one day and sank into the abyss. Based on my limited time with one I think they deserve all the hype they get. A really cool product.
If you get one, they make a case or part of a case that floats. I plan on getting one of those after my buddies experience.

I have said since moving here I wish our building was in wausau. closer to nicer water. everything around here is just plain gross
