If anyone has ever used their boat in the winter you will notice the vinyl is much stiffer and not as pliable as it is in the summer.
given I do vinyl work automotive\marine and not to hi jack this topic... but alot of your stiffness is just median temp given. bottom line vinyl and I mean all marine vinyl that has been UV treated only have between 500-700 hour uv protectant life span. meaning this. every outing \ sun exposure will start eating away at that life span. other factors speed it up and slow it down. what chemicals u use on it to clean, temp, humidity, how hard you are on it ext... but yes something like 303 does help that life span and also conditions it. But if you winterize and dont use it... being in a cool dark dry place will not affect or shorten the life span on this. the sun and your kids are probably the biggest enemy in regards to its life span along with abrasion.
