New to the club, just got 2009 22Ve

Just bought up a new to me 22Ve, under 190hrs.. put 2 on it already. Towed it home Tuesday, went surfing yesterday! Water was 44deg. One guy had a full wet suit, one had a dry suit. I used the dry suit. All 3 were able to drop the rope even without any ballast on the boat (may install some this winter).

Steering was tight so I just ordered a new cable and will join the club of those who installed it on their own. I'm sure I'll have questions about other stuff. Love the forum and things that I can learn.

I've surfed behind a friends late 90's Tige 21 ft (not sure of the model).

Now just need to winterize it and get ready for spring in Michigan!

Very nice pictures- welcome. I think you'll love that boat. with 190 hrs it's barely broken in. Do a built in ballast this winter - you'll be glad next spring. I love my 22Ve!

Nice looking boat! Those would be the colors I'd choose.
The luck is gone, the brain is shot, but the liquor we still got.
