I'd love to see this boat with a different colour scheme. Maybe I just don't like the colours.... I think its that I don't like the paint "scheme" more so than the colours. The Z series and RZ series (and even the Ve series) look sleek and fast, partly due to the graphic design. They look like sports cars (even if they perform like tractors). This boat looks more like a city bus. The outside is big, and the inside is very rectangular. The lines just aren't right. Just look at the windshield design.

With all that being said, it is a tremendous performer, and that is most important. Give it a few years and I think they will refine the curb appeal.

I still could never afford one...

Maybe it's just me or the angle of some of the pics, but it looks like, at wakeboard speeds, the bow rides higher out of the water than the other models. I haven't compared it to any pics of other models, so I may be off on that. Just something that caught my eye.

I think it looks much better on the water than off. Looks less "chunky" on the water. More sleek (although not as sleek as the other models). I can't tell if the paint scheme is having any effect on that or not.

Ya I have noticed that too. The bow definitely rides higher out of the water, Im assuming because of the amount of ballast that thing is pushing.

No doubt.... relative to those girls in the bow, that rise in the front must be 6 feet.

Its sort of amazing actually. This boat weighs one thousand pounds more than the next boat in the lineup. This then necessitates a bigger motor to power it and a bigger truck to pull it. Then we add 4000lbs of ballast (because, you know, 3000 isn't enough). Then we need a better prop just to move the thing. In the end, we buy 30% more gasoline just to keep it running. And in the end, all we get is a marginally bigger wave. And hey, the earth makes waves for free already!! Last but not least, we throw ourselves off these waves at great speed and end up in agony having fallen face first into the lake.

There really isn't anything rational about this!! No wonder my fiance thinks I'm nuts :P
