    Upgrade Prop 2012 RZR

I am getting a VX for my 2012 RZR, PCM 343
I have the upgraded rear 750lb fat sacks & 200 lb in floor ballast
I am curious if any RZR owners have upgraded to the ACME 1273 prop for better getting out of the pocket power?
I will have to measure my boatmate to make sure I have the additional clearance going from 13.5" to a 14.5" prop. That equates to 1/2" additional clearance.
    Any concerns?

If you don't mind answering, what are you looking at price wise on your VX? WWS here in Denver thinks it would cost me somewhere in the area of $5000 to put the VX on my boat. They said there is a bunch of expense in putting the new brackets on (since my 2011 has the old brackets) then filling and re-gellcoating the old holes, and shipping the VX with the new platform is not cheap. If it's gonna cost that much I don't know that I can justify it and I'm just gonna build a surf flap.

I have read about a lot of people having really good results with the 1235 in the low end power ranges. Losing 3-5 mph on the top end. No personal experience.

I tested the 1235 on my RZR for almost 2 months and the only thing it really did for me is waste a ton of fuel. It did not get out of the hole any better than the stock 1631 prop. If I remember, it may have actually taken longer to get on plane.

You'd be much better off putting spacers on the TAPS bracket to allow the plate to go lower in the water.
