Wake Havasu

I have a house in Havasu and try to make it out every other weekend. In the summer we usually drive out on Saturday and come home Monday night. Less people on the lake on Sundays and Mondays. Usually spend a week in June and a week in August there also.

I would be happy when I go to topock to get 9' readings. I must be in the wrong spot as I get 4 - 5' depth. I hate seeing the rocks. I just follow a bigger boats path. Most of the time when we make a Topock run I hop in my friends Advantage and enjoy the ride.

tweirich, Yes, that is true. However, me being the dummy that I am, this is a conversation I can contribute to, and thus get my numbers up.

Topock is a scenic area on the Colorado River between Lake Havasu and Needles. There is a small Marina and restaurant there. Quite a few people make runs up there for a meal.

If I wanted to build a house at Table Rock Lake, what is a good area. Looking for a few lots right now but want to build within the next 2 years. What are areas to avoid?

There really is no bad area of Table Rock. There are less convient areas, but I'm guessing this will be a 2nd home for you, so that wouldn't be much of an issue.

I personally like the Lampe, Blue Eye areas, they are just across the bridge from Kimberling City. There are still some nice lots to be had in that area.

Shell knob or Cape Fair can be nice too, but they are kind of out of the way.

Its kind of hard to narrow down the whole Table rock lake area, unless you want to let me know what some of your specific requirements are.

Like does it need to be near Supermarkets, town etc.

Where will you be driving in from?
Where will you be keeping your boat?
Do you want to be in a Subdivison or do you care if your out in the sticks?
Do you want quick access to a ski course or on-the-water fuel?

Stuff like that.

I will try to narrow it down

Would like to be close to town and supermarkets.

Drive will be unimportant as I plan to spend about 2-3 months at a time there.

Will be keeping a boat there.

Subdivison or out in the sticks ok.

No need to be close to a ski course and on water fuel is nice but not a requirement.

Would like to have dock or slip privelges.

If the work project does not pan out 100% would like to rent the house out, preferabley full time but seasonal rental ok.

Thats all I can think of for now.
