With this being my 350th post, I now get to ascend into the ranks of the Senior Members. While I am humbled to be among such company, I realize it was a long and hard road with many learning experiences along the way.
Let me share them with you, and maybe a couple of the other "old timers" will as well.
1.) Sarcasm does not translate well on a message board. I seem to forget this every single time I post.
2.) Pay attention to what you are writing, or your dumb comments will be called out. Thanks to talltigeguy, Ray, Nicky, Tweirch, Matt, TigeMD, and all the others that have pointed out when my foot was in my mouth.
3.) Everyone has some sort of trouble with their boat. Some are small, and the guys on here usually help solve them in a couple of posts. Thanks to MD and lee for all your insight into the dark corners of our boats.
4.) Tige owner's are the strangest bunch of people. The personalities on here never fail to make me laugh.
5.) I first visited here when we ordered our boat in 2004 and I was looking for a picture of the "west coast graphics". Having picked them without seeing them, thanks to those of you that posted in the galleries. It made a semi-tense situation much better.
6.) Tige owner's are extremely brand loyal. I don't know if it comes from years of defending wooden stringers or what, but they are certainly bulldogs when it comes to their boats.
7.) There are some big dudes on this board, check the Wakesurfing forum for the board recommendation thread and see what I mean. @ 6'3" & 215lbs I'm a middle of the road big guy!
8.) Probably the single most usefull tip I have gotten from this board is to check your bilge pump for carpet fibers. I know, I know how simple is that. Guess that shows you something about me.
Well, that's enough rambling! Thanks tigeowners.com heres to another 350 posts!
