Hi Dog. I'm glad you got rid of that tweirich guy. His name was too weird.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Would like to be close to town and supermarkets.

Drive will be unimportant as I plan to spend about 2-3 months at a time there.

Will be keeping a boat there.

Subdivison or out in the sticks ok.

No need to be close to a ski course and on water fuel is nice but not a requirement.

Would like to have dock or slip privelges.

If the work project does not pan out 100% would like to rent the house out, preferabley full time but seasonal rental ok.

Thats all I can think of for now.

        Thanks
If you need to rent the house, you probably need to stay in the Kimberling City/Branson West areas or Ridgedale Area. Those would be the most attractive to renters, I belive. Ridgedale is South of Branson on 65, near Big Cedar Lodge.

Docks are weird on T-rock, there are some private docks still, but most are community zoned now. So you have to find one to buy from a private seller (15-20K) or you need to be in a S/D that has them available. You can also lease dock space from a couple of marinas on the lake, KC, Cape Fair, Long Creek (ridgedale) Indian point or State park (not too far from ridgedale).

Dock Slips are getting harder to find than lots!

I like the KC,BW area but Ridgedale is nice too. It is about a 8 min drive to Hollister, which will have everything you would need.

Let me know if you need anything else!

I work in the Land Title insurance/Escrow industry, so I have lots of good contacts with realtors and such if you decide to go that route. And I can recommend a builder or 7 if you need.

Ah OOO, your gonna make him mad.

Only two things that can make a Texan Cry:

                        1: Making fun of Texas.
2: Telling him that Alaska is bigger.

I think we are giving all the junior members reason not to post up, They don't want to deal with all the harassment!

So who's got the most hours or hours/year on their boat?

                          Post your stats and/or excuses!

                          Me 2005 w/56 hrs.

Had second kid along the way, that really limited the water time last year!

Nah, we have a sense of humor and Texas is still bigger than France

                              2005 with 55 hours

2 1/2 weeks in Hawaii and a slight transmission problem limited my time .

This year might be the same as both my kids got jobs and my daughter made the cheerleading squad.

Make him mad? I love that song. Red Steagle is the shiznit. Maybe even better than **** (Richard) Curless.

                                Alaska > Texas.
