Proud to be a Tige Owner!

It's been five long years for me.... dreaming of getting a Tige.

Here I am in 2009 pining for one at the boat show:

I came close in 2011, but it wasn't meant to be. But life has a way of sorting itself out though.

Tonight I put my deposit down on a brand new 2013 Tige Z1! Thanks to TigeCanuck and Hyperactive Watersports for being a class act and helping me make my dream a reality. They made a deal I couldn't refuse. Will be picking up the boat this Saturday and giving it a quick trip up and down the lake before winterization.

I'm glad to officially be a part of the club. I'll be asking a lot of questions over the next 6 months while I wait for the ice to thaw Thanks for everything so far. One of the things I like best about Tige is the community of owners. It seems like Tige Owners, unlike many others, aren't looking to prove anything... just out to have a fun time on the water. I couldn't agree more with that philosophy.

My 2 year old son checking it out for the first time.

Congratulations! It looks to be worth the wait for sure. Nice pictures of the boat and your copilot.
You fit in the group just fine, no worries there.

It's funny actually. I've been collecting pictures of my favourite colour schemes for about a year. This was one of my front runners. Matches my black truck, has a white hull (for keeping clean), and accents nicely. I like the contrasting nature of it. About the only thing I'd do different if I ordered from factory would be a white tower. So that wasn't enough to keep me away.

Thanks to ChrisBarnes for opening my eyes to the Z1. I was set on an RZ2 just for the extra size, but he explained to me how similar the two boats are. In fact, the Z1 is a heavier boat.

The Z1 also fits in my garage, and will save me some gas over going to something as big as a Z3. (this goes for towing, or for surfing). So its a bit smaller than maybe what would be ideal, but its a reasonable trade off. I also like that this is the newest boat in the lineup (as of yesterday before 8:30pm) :P

I live 10 minutes from Chestermere, so it will see a lot of that lake. But in the summer we always spend time in Shuswap.

Welcome aboard JohnnieMo. It is great to see that the "stars have aligned" and you will be the proud owner of this stunning Z1. I know you have been waiting a while to put the right Tige in your driveway. Below are some photos from the day it arrived at our marina at which time Tige technical expert extraordinaire Eddie G was at our dealership and took it out for the first spin. Since that day it has been patiently waiting to a good home, and we are stoked to know that it will be your's. Congrats and thanks!

I like the matching white trailer. The '13 has a lot of small details that I Greatly appreciated from my older 2011. The wait was definitely worth it imo.
                      GO BIG!!

I really like the '13. I find the '14s are a bit more "art deco" on the interior. Its a design change I doubt will stick around another year. PCM vs indmar is a wash for me but I know some guys have their preference.

As for the trailer I agree fully. I also like how the black accent on the lower hull flows into the black platform. At the same time the white convex Vx flows nicely into the white hull. Its the little things that make a Tigé stand out.

Your welcome for helping you out johnniemo. The only thing you should have done different was buy my z1 from me. Haha jk. I guarantee you will enjoy the boat. I love the z1. I will most likely sell mine though. I will be looking real hard at the ASR & Z3. Getting a new boat is an awesome experience! I need to do it again before my wife decides she wants another kid or something!
