I just worry about them rushing to get products to the market before really making sure they are solid. Like i said before, this event looked rushed, and the boat they are showing is likely the first one ever built. In my mind any great product should go through extensive testing and refinement, especially a 100k specialty boat. It is a sweat looking boat though no doubt about that, I hope there are little/no issues with it when it comes to market.

I know my '08 RZ2 is a great boat. I have been thru the factory tour and it seems like a very thorough process of manufacturing.

Some of my favorite "new" features...

I love the new speaker locations, much friendlier when it comes to quality of sound.
Have to love the new hull shape and the anticipation to ride behind it is unbelievable.
All underfloor ballast leaving tons of room for storage.
Flooring is much better than carpet or even snap out carpet.
It looks to be entirely user friendly in almost every way.
In floor storage.
The LED lighting all the new ideas for it look awesome.
Anchor Storage.
im prolly skipping things but these are the big ones in my mind.


A few things that arent my favorite:

The surf and wakeboard storage in the rear-looks like it wont be as useful as they thought. (might be awesome idk yet just stating my thoughts)

I question the cooler, i know each person uses their boats differently but i like having a cooler in the back and the front. different reasons, but i am speaking as to my preferences.

I dont see any type of windscreen, maybe im missing it, but I live in TX and wakeboard about 10 months of the year so on those chilly days a windscreen really helps.

As much as we all use our windscreens I highly doubt Tige left that out on their new flagship boat.

I just got done reading "the malibu crew" thoughts on the ASR, and most of them are haters. Most are so sold on having the SG on there Malibu's, they think all boats need them to surf good. The truth is they just dont have any idea. I have owned 2 Malibu's, and loved them, but they did not surf worth a crap next to a RZ2, and my VLX drove like a tank when wieghted, and even worse when surfing. It all makes sence, there boats (Malibu's) need some more flappers hanging off the back of the boat to keep up with Tige. Oh and another thing they all say its a copy of the G23 hull design, we all know Tige has had the fish bowl hull with adj plate for a long time. I have more, but i feel better.

It was after a night of drinking. Maybe they forget boat courtesy or lack of common sense. The people at this event surely should know about the no shoes rule!
