Well I got the news from the dealer on the price to add the Convex VX to my RZ2.
Looks like $4000.00 which includes frieght and labor any way you cut it. That's red color matched by the way. White is cheaper.
          Ouch.....

Mine was black swim deck and white VX for $2,600 plus $440 labor. Someone is making a profit on this!
Maybe 2013 boats do not need new swim deck.
Noooooooo!!!! Not a profit! How dare they make a profit to keep the bills paid and the doors open.

                that's a lot of scratch.

I would hope that somewhere along the way, a cheaper alternative comes out that will bolt to existing swim platforms. it can't be more than a few hundred in material..
                2012 22ve.. RIP 4/17

I was quoted ~ $5000. I have a 2011 RZR. This price included VX, new swim platform, labor for install and shipping. As most of us know the swim platform brackets were changed in 2012 so I would need a new swim deck and brackets. The labor consists of filling in old holes, then fixing gelcoat. New holes need to be drilled and then installation can happen. Dealer said a nice chunk of the cost is shipping too. They said the price is not very nice to ship a new swim platform and a vx. Said some cost could be saved by going and getting the parts from Tige (driving).

In my opinion, chat's a lot of $ for the upgrade. I say this because from what i've read, the surf ballast is not enough for the VX. So not only am I on the hook for 5000, I need to get another $1000 of w004 custom bags.

                    Yikes!

Just buy the bags you'll be happy with the bang for the buck there. Then fill both front bags full unless you have surf ballast then just add a peep up front with your single bag full.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.
