Price On Convex VX

Tige' just let me know that the Convex VX retro kit for my boat can now be ordered (2011 RZ2). I was wondering if you guys could chime in and let me know what to expect as far as price goes for the change including installation. I wm getting ready to take my boat to the dealer and wanted to get an idea on what price to expect.

Well it's a 2800.00 option on a Z1 from the factory. That's all i know. Other than it's the Convex VX with the rear deck as a package.

Isn't there a white version, cheaper, and then a color matched one, more expensive?

It comes in White(frost) for the $2800. Then the sheet lists a custom and a pearl option. I would guess those are about $500-$800 like other extra color options.

$2,640 for the VX and $440 labor plus freight! Then you have $500 bags to purchase to get the most from your VX. (PM chpthril for some bags). Labor consist of drilling and tapping threads for 14 swim deck holes and 20 VX holes.

Color for a Convex VX = 630 as of the July '13 order form. Pearl adds $960 to the base price of a VX.

Got this from my dealer. Possibly dealer cost because we are splitting the cost. I ordered Black ($1900 Painted)

I do not understand such price difference. 1,900 painted can not include the labor/install?
Mine was black swim deck and white VX for $2,600 plus $440 labor. Someone is making a profit on this!
Maybe 2013 boats do not need new swim deck.

No labor on my quote and as I said am splitting the cost with my dealer and he is paying for installation. So I am sure this is dealer cost not including shipping.

Thanks for those ideas everyone. Doesn't sound like anyone has ordered and had installed it all yet. Sounds like maybe $3500 complete.
I need it colored by the way (red) to match.

If it is available for an 08 RZ2 I will take it for whatever price. Lot cheaper than a new boat.
