We have a FSLM 2002 that some in our group say can run in 4' of water. Others get the jitters at around 10' deep. Any opinions? Thanks.

That boat should run fine in 4' of water as long as you trust that stretch of water. I frequent an area thats a good mile long that goes from 6' to 4'. I've been riding this area all my life so I trust it. What you don't want to do is wakeboard or surf on it. Slalom only. At 8'+ I'll wakeboard and at 10' I'll surf. That sould keep you safe. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I've been wakeboarding in this one cove thats at 5' in spots. Its kinda funny when people start jumping up and down in their boats, yelling "FIVE FEET!!! FIVE FEET!!!!" I go "yeah, it'll run in three!"
something else to remember- when youre sitting still, the depth is measured from the bottom of the hull, which can be 1-2 feet below the water as it is- depending on how fast your going.Freude am Fahren.

as long as that 11 feet stays in Lake Powell.
I don't think many of the ramps can handle that on the Virgin river arm. I was at Echo last weekend and it is getting to be a pretty small harbor already.Be excellent to one another.
