it is optioned out nicely besides that.. I just think it priced high.

sorry im just playing....I havent given up on Tige completely. Im holding out on a 14 with a good build quality at local dealer.

What stage of the negotiation is this, did you just ask for his price and that was it? Did you make an initial offer or counter offer? Just curious, seems pretty high as most have said.

luckily I'm not on the line for anything yet!!!! the dealer said this was the best they could do for me!!! I'm glad I asked all of you here, or I may have made a bad choice. I will come back with a lower offer and see what happens. I'll be sure to fill everyone in as the events unfold. Thanks for everyone's thoughts on this!

I can see a dealer not wanting to deal as its one of the first 2014 boats they have probably gotten, but I could also see them wanting to get aggressive to move a quick boat going into winter time.

It does have pro ballast, Convex VX, the flex gelcoat, tower of power and the expensive swivel board racks, those things right there drive the sticker up pretty quickly. High 70's, low 80's for sure due to those options.

local dealer has the same boat but with loaded boatmate trailer (on 18s) poisden flooring, LED'd Rev 8s for $79k

@Barry and anyone else who is curious...This is not Tige. I saw my cost sheet for 13 and the one for my 14 and there is only between 1-2% price increase on cost. I will pay less than $1000 more for my 14 then the 13. Tige's are growing in popularity and sales are increasing. As this happens dealers feel like they can increase their margins and customers will pay it as the brand name grows. I have seen it first hand. If new customers come in and pay it, this concept works. Problem lies in return customers. They know what they used to pay, they see MSRP is pretty steady then get quoted way more than they used to. At the prices they get quoted other brands become more comparable. Many of us own Tiges because they offer a lot of value for your dollar. Add 10-15K to the price and the value is gone.

Saw it, that's where I got the info from. It's very well equipped! Not many more options that you could get actually. Upgraded trailer, another set of Rev 10's, a shower and that's about all there is left I think!
