    Newest Boating Sport: KNEESURFING!

OK, maybe it's been done before. But it was sure new to us!

We have some very close friends who live in Calgary, AB. We get together with them one week every summer for boating and one week every winter for skiing. During this summer's visit, their 13YO son announced that he wanted to try surfing our wave on a kneeboard... and the new sport of KneeSurfing was born!

Here's the inventor giving it the first try:

Next, our 11YO son got on the board. He is a very good wakesurfer so those skills transferred directly to the kneeboard. He was ripping it up ropeless and had a huge grin on his face the entire time:

Our last photo is the Dad of our Calgary family. You can tell he's having an absolutely awful time, hating every minute of it :

If you've got a kneeboard, give this a try for something completely different. I was skeptical but it turned out to be an absolute blast!

We have a kneeboard. Maybe we'll give it a shot? Can't hurt?

I'm wondering if SOME law enforcement might consider this teak surfing, since you are not standing upright?
Remember I'm in CA. We have to think about all these things.

I'm going to have to try it out now. Done about everything else might as well.

Can you imagine getting a longer rope and hitting that surf wave full speed and jumping it?

Looks cool, a new use for kneeboards, almost like boogie boards that you can surf kneeling down on them.

I wouldn't attempt any of these non-standing wake riding without an FAE installed on your boat.
